Mitchell County Animal Rescue is not a large animal rescue, but occasionally animals such as horses or livestock come to us as a result of cases of cruelty & neglect that are brought to our attention. In these instances, we make every effort to provide care for these animals and to do what is best for each of them - whether that means transferring them to a large animal rescue or finding them new homes through adoption.
Our adoption staff works diligently to ensure that every animal goes to a home that is safe, loving and understands the needs of the pet they are adopting.
