Before you adopt, please consider these questions:

  • Do you understand the importance of spay/neutering your pet and affordable options for the procedure?

  • Are you prepared to devote the time a pet demands for love, companionship, exercise?

  • Can you provide good quality food, comfortable shelter, health care?

  • Do you understand routine health care needs?

  • Are you willing to take the time to understand your pet?

If you can answer 'Yes' to these questions, we have someone we'd like you to meet!

Adoption Applications

If you are planning to adopt an animal from MCAR, you should either stop by the shelter to complete an application in person, or fill out the appropriate form linked above. After submitting an online application form, a staff member will then contact you to discuss adoption and authorize payment.
