Mica Gallery Hosts Fundraiser in Support of MCAR Animals     

Mica Gallery comes through for us again with their now annual fundraiser for Mitchell County Animal Rescue! This sale will feature works donated by Mica artists and friends and will run from March 6-April 7, with 75% of the sale of the donated works being contributed to MCAR. The opening reception is Friday, March 6, 4:00-7:00 pm. A $10 per person suggested donation for MCAR will be collected at the door on the night of the reception. Refreshments at the opening are being hosted by Speckled Dog Pottery.

Mica is an artist-run gallery of fine art and contemporary craft located at 37 N. Mitchell Avenue in Bakersville, NC. The gallery is open Fridays and Saturdays during January, February, and March and every day, April 1-December 31 (closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve). Hours on Mondays-Saturdays are from 11:00am to 5:00pm and Sundays from noon-5:00pm.
