MCAR Welcomes Katherine “Katie” Elkins as New Executive Director
With a proven track record of success in grant writing, fundraising, community outreach, event planning, donor cultivation, outreach, and education, Katie Elkins brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Mitchell County Animal Rescue. She will play a pivotal role in driving the shelter’s strategic initiatives and fostering continued growth.
Her history of working relationships with our local businesses, community organizations, county government, and local law enforcement, positions her as an invaluable asset to our organization. Katie has a strong reputation for innovative thinking, exceptional leadership, and a deep understanding of MCAR’s importance in our community.
